Privacy Policy

Verosite Ltd (“we”, “us”) operates Verosite Visibility. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have. We are the data controller for that data.

What we collect

• Account data — your name, email address, and authentication identifiers. Provided by you at signup.
• Project data — the domains, keywords, and settings you add, plus the ranking and AI-visibility results we generate for them.
• Billing data — handled entirely by Stripe. We store only a customer reference and your plan; we never see or store card numbers.
• Connected Google services — if you sign in with Google or connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics. See Google user data below for exactly what we read and how we use it.
• Free checker — the domain you enter, and your email if you choose to unlock the full report.

Why we use it

To provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract), to send service emails such as alerts and reports (legitimate interest, and you can turn these off in Settings), and to meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Google user data

When you use Sign in with Google or connect a Google service, we ask only for the access that feature needs, and every Google permission we ask for is read-only.

• Sign in with Google — your name and email address, to create your account and sign you in.
• Google Search Console (read-only, webmasters.readonly) — the list of sites you manage, and for the site you choose: search queries, clicks, impressions and average position, by day.
• Google Analytics (read-only, analytics.readonly) — the Analytics properties you can access, and for the property that matches your site: daily sessions by traffic source and channel, so we can show visits from AI assistants.

How we use it.Only to provide the features you see: showing this data in your dashboard, reports and alerts, and using it to write your action plan and the answers from our AI assistant. To write those, the relevant figures (for example your top Search Console queries and their clicks) are sent to Anthropic's Claude models through Vercel AI Gateway, which process them only to generate your plan or answer.

What we never do. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it to train AI models, or transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide these features, for security, or to comply with the law. People at Verosite do not read it unless you ask us to (for example in a support request) or it is needed for security or the law.

Storage and deletion. We store the access tokens Google gives us, so we can refresh your data daily, and the data listed above, in our database. Disconnecting a service on the Integrations page deletes its token and the data we synced from it. Deleting a project or your account deletes all of it. You can also remove our access at any time in your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Verosite Visibility's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who we share it with

Only the processors we need to run the product: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting, and Vercel AI Gateway, which routes our requests to AI models), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), DataForSEO (search results and AI-answer data), and the AI providers we ask questions of or use to write your plan — OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity and Google. Each processes data under its own agreement with us.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. You can delete your account yourself from Settings, which removes your workspace data and login immediately; anything we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (such as invoices held by Stripe) is retained only as long as the law requires. Free-checker records are deleted after 12 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email hello@verosite.co.ukand we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember which project you last had selected. Page-view analytics on this site are collected by Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify you. We do not use advertising cookies.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
